Course Introduction:
The Communication Studies course aims to cultivate outstanding talents who combine cross-border knowledge and public relations skills, and are favored by both domestic and multinational companies. The course mainly focuses on refining analytical skills and the knowledge required for decision-making in the fields of advertising, marketing, and enterprise management. Communication courses are beneficial for professionals who are already in the field of public relations, as well as for those who have relevant degrees and want to hone their abilities and gain more knowledge.
Course Features:
Students have the opportunity to major in Corporate Public Relations or Integrated Marketing Communication.
Communication studies provide students with a deep understanding of public relations theory, skills, and knowledge equipment required in the field of public relations employment through lectures;
The course includes internships in research methods and preparation for research projects in the field of public relations. The knowledge and skills of public relations are complementary to other extensive professional qualifications.

Learning/Research Methods:
☆ The research topic will be guided and supervised by a designated supervisor;
☆ Graduate students are required to attend seminars in their research field;
☆ Graduate students are required to submit a research proposal and conduct a defense after completing one fourth of the courses;
☆ Graduate students are required to submit monthly progress reports to their supervisors. The mentor will conduct regular consultations and discussions;
☆ The Student Academic Affairs Committee reviews the performance of graduate students on a quarterly basis;
☆ After completing the research topic, graduate students are required to submit their thesis and conduct a defense.
Admission Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields recognized by the Malaysian government or equivalent degree issued by the IUKL committee;
The English proficiency is sufficient to complete the entire course;
International students are required to achieve an IELTS score of 5.0, TOEFL score of 500, Cambridge Linguaskill score of 154, or a university diploma taught in English.
